About Us
Stations
Parker County ESD #6 operates out of three fire stations serving our community.
Station 44 is manned 24/7 by highly trained, professional firefighters. Our administrative offices are also located here, where our Fire Chief and Administrative Secretary are available during regular business hours.
Stations 244 and 344, while not staffed full-time with firefighters, house a variety of fire apparatus, support vehicles, and water rescue equipment, including boats. In addition, Parker County Hospital District staffs a full-time ambulance crew at Station 244, providing rapid medical response to our district.
We invite you to stop by anytime you see someone at our stations. Our personnel are always happy to visit, answer questions, and show you the equipment that helps keep our community safe.

I am a Professional Firefighter with Parker County ESD #6.
I am prepared for whatever the day may bring because I am mentally and physically fit for duty.
I continually develop myself through training and education while developing those around me through mentorship. I lean on my past experiences when making decisions and pass those learned lessons onto my peers for their future success. I will earn my position every day.
I honor those who came before me and their sacrifice to my profession. I respect those whom I serve with and welcome their opinions, even if they differ from my own. I will be quick to listen and remain approachable to my peers. My responsibility is to leave this organization better than I found it for those who serve after me. I empathetically serve the citizens of the District, no matter the degree of their need.
I live my commitment to duty through selfless service. The needs of the community and the team come before my own, however, I must take care of myself in order to care for others. Loyalty to my customers and the organization is reflected through the decisions and actions I take. I am proud to be a member of my community and will continually strive to make it better.
I understand that often the highest service that I can perform is that of empathy. I am compassionate and considerate to my customers and my teammates.
My character is unwavered as I hold myself to the highest standards of integrity, honesty, and accountability on and off duty. I will not make excuses. I take ownership, find solutions, and take action through initiative. I value the leadership of others, understanding that the greatest achievements are accomplished through teamwork. I am willing to complete difficult tasks while holding myself and those around me accountable. My credentials are my fellow Firefighters, my character, and my commitment to duty. I will make mistakes, and I may fail; however, I will learn from those lessons. I will not stop, I will not quit, and I will continually improve myself, my team and my organization.
I stand ready to serve my neighbors, communities, and region at all times.
Partnership with Cresson Volunteer Fire Department
To ensure comprehensive fire protection and emergency response across all areas of Parker County ESD 6, we proudly partner with the Cresson Volunteer Fire Department (VFD) to serve the southeastern portion of our district.
Cresson VFD is contracted by Parker County ESD 6 to provide fire suppression, rescue, and EMS first responder services within this region. The department operates as a dynamic and highly capable volunteer organization, staffed by dedicated individuals who devote countless hours to training, response, and community service. Their commitment and professionalism play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of care and protection that our residents expect and deserve.
While Cresson VFD functions as a contracted service provider, our relationship goes far beyond a traditional contractor agreement. They are true partners in our mission to ensure that every citizen and visitor within Parker County ESD 6 receives prompt, reliable, and professional emergency service. Through collaboration, shared training opportunities, and joint response efforts, our teams work seamlessly together to protect lives and property.
Funding for this partnership is made possible, in part, through the taxes paid by property owners within Parker County ESD 6. These resources allow us to sustain and enhance emergency coverage throughout the district, ensuring that all communities—no matter their location—have access to essential fire and emergency services.
To further support their operations, Parker County ESD 6 provides Cresson VFD with an engine and a 3,000-gallon water tender, which strengthens their ability to respond effectively to structure fires, wildland incidents, and other emergencies in the area. This shared commitment of resources demonstrates the unified goal of delivering exceptional service and readiness across the entire district.
Together, Parker County ESD 6 and Cresson VFD exemplify what can be achieved through partnership, dedication, and a shared purpose—protecting the people, property, and future of our growing community.
